37 People Killed By Gun Fire In Benue State (PHOTO)

No fewer than 37 people reportedly killed by gunfire close to Governor Suswam’s home in Benue during invasion by suspected herdsmen and fighters of the Jukun militia.

PHOTOS--- Bride Arrested For Trying To Marry Her Fourth Nigerian Husband

      A bogus bride was caught minutes before she could tie the knot with her fourth husband. Raquel Neto Furtado De Andrade had already married three Nigerians to help give them the right to stay in Britain. But her attempt to marry again for cash was foiled by suspicious staff at a register office.
        They tipped off immigration officials about the bigamous 22-year-old, who used the same wedding dress at each ceremony. Her scam was exposed at Harrow register office in north London. Checks revealed De Andrade had three ‘husbands’, none of which she had troubled to divorce.
         The fourth groom, a 32-year-old Nigerian, was arrested with her and has been kicked out of the country.

Man’s Lifeless Body Found On Prayer Mountain In Ondo

A middle aged man’s lifeless body has been found on a prayer mountain along Idanre road in Akure, the Ondo State capital.

Reports say the man may have slumped and died while praying

There was panic at Ogba Junior Grammar School, Ogba area of Lagos, Western Nigeria on Thursday as 13 students suddenly fainted after inhaling gaseous emission from at the school premises.

The man found guilty of killing Usher's 11-year-old stepson has been sentenced to four years in prison. Last month, a Georgia jury found Jeffrey Simon Hubbard guilty of homicide by vessel as a result of the 2012 Jet Ski collision that took the life of the boy, Kile Glover, and injured a 15-year-old girl. Hubbard was also found guilty of serious injury by vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft and boat traffic violation.

Photo--- 7 Secondary School Students Killed By Toyota Camry In Anambra State

In a very sad turn of events, at least 7 students have been killed after a Toyota Camry ran into them in Anambra state. See the full report from PUNCH below:

A Toyota Camry lost control on Thursday and ran into some secondary school pupils at the Umuokpu Junction along the old Onitsha-Enugu Expressway, Awka, Anambra State.
The victims were mostly pupils of the Community Secondary School, Umuokpu, and Union Secondary School, Amawbia.

No fewer than seven of them were feared dead, while 10 others were critically injured in the accident.
It is gathered that the pupils had just closed from school and were waiting by the side of the road to catch transportation home when the car ran into them.
One of the victims, an old man, had his right leg broken, his right eyes cut open, while a whitish substance oozed out of his forehead.

One of the pupils feared dead in the accident had her head crushed. The unnamed pupil, who was said to be of Union Secondary School, laid lifeless on the road when reporters visited the area.

Another victim was trapped under a commercial bus that tried to avoid colliding with the Toyota Camry.

The car also rammed into the people selling fruits and recharge cards and left several traders injured.

Sympathisers were seen trying to rescue the victims. In the confusion, the driver of the car, who also sustained injury, was seen as he climbed out of the mangled car, crossed to the other side of the road and took a cab away from the scene.

Officials of the Federal Road Safety Corps arrived 20 minutes after the accident, but the victims had been taken to nearby hospitals. The FRSC officials later towed the car away.

The Anambra State Sector Commander of the FRSC, Mr. Hyginus Omeje, said, “I am aware of the accident. I am, however, waiting for my men to give methe full details of what happened.”

Rashidi Yekini's Sister Dies in Fatal Accident

Such a tragic news! May God comfort the Yekinis! 21 months after Super Eagles forward and football legend, Rashidi Yekini died after a brief illness, his younger sister, Rofiat Yekini has also passed on; Barrister Mohammed Jubril, the Nigeria's highest goal-scorer of all time's lawyer confirmed via a statement.

According to him, the mother of three was heading to Offa after a business trip when an 18-seater vehicle she was in rammed into a lorry, leaving three occupants dead and others injured. The accident occurred along Okuku-Osogbo road on Wednesday 27th February 2013 at about 1pm.

                                          Many of the insurgents are believed to use routes cutting through forests in states    like Borno, Yobe, Taraba and Adamawa to smuggle arms into the country from Cameroun and a number of neighbouring countries.
          The Conservator-General of National Park Service, Mr. Haruna Abubakar, told the House of Representatives Committee on Environment on Monday that the guards would help the JTF to comb the forests for hideouts of insurgents.
           Abubakar had appeared before the committee in Abuja to defend the 2014 budget of the agency.
The NPS had been classified as a para-military agency in January this year by government.
According to Abubakar, the agency will rely on its knowledge of the country’s forest terrain to conduct security sweeps with the military.

A man was said to have committed suicide at Alalubosa GRA, Ibadan in Oyo State.
The yet-to-be identified man was seen hanging from a mango tree on an undeveloped piece of land along railway line at Alalubosa.
According to reports, the body of the deceased was discovered by one of the traders who had a shop along the railway line when he went to defecate.

Brothers Kill brother Over Their Father's Property In Lagos (SEE PHOTOS)

Three brothers in Satellite Town, Fatia, Sakiru and Tunji Osun, have killed their brother, Yusuf, over the house that their father left when he died. According to witnesses, their father willed the house to Yusuf, who wasn't the eldest, but the eldest, Fatia decided to sell the house for N15m, take N10m and give his brothers N5m to share. Yusuf did not agree, and the rest, is history.

Tribune reports that justice have been served for a young girl who was gang raped by 6 of her fellow students at the Kwara State College of Health and Technology, Offa. She was said to have been drugged by the boys before they proceeded to have their dastardly way with her. The police have arrested 3 out of the 6 suspects who were said to have had forceful intercourse with the hapless girl until she lost consciousness.

Parading the suspects to journalists in Ilorin on Friday, the state Commissioner of Police, Ambrose Aisabor, said the female student was drugged by the six suspects before they raped her “mercilessly until she became unconscious.”
Aisabor, who said that the victim had been admitted at the University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) in Ilorin for treatment, assured that the remaining three suspects who were at large would be apprehended and brought to book alongside their arrested colleagues.
The police boss said items recovered at the scene of the incident included three used condoms, a bottle of Ponche liquor, one red lady’s pants, a pair of lady’s shoes and one Samsung handset belonging to the victim.
